After lamenting the lack of quality health care for transwomen, especially those with low income, in December 2003 two
transwomen got together and decided to do something about it.
In June 2004, they created:
1) Olympic Electrolysis - to provide reasonably priced electrolysis and
2) Trans Health Initiative - to provide low cost safe orchiectomies and hormonal treatment for
transwomen.
The goal is to provide quality services for transpeople, by transpeople.
