Dear Community Members,

Youth Gender Project recently became one of the beneficiaries of Community Thrift Store. This means that Youth Gender Project supporters can donate goods to the Community Thrift Store, mentioning our name and account number (134), and Youth Gender Project will receive a percentage of each sale.

If you have any clothing, furniture, or household goods that you could no longer use, please consider donating them to Community Thrift in our name. Your donation will benefit Youth Gender Project.
Donation information is below. Thanks in advance for your support.

Sincerely,
Brooklynne M. Thomas      Events Coordinator, Youth Gender Project

Community Thrift Store
623 Valencia Street
10 am to 6:30 pm Open every day

Donations are accepted from 10 am to 5 pm daily. You may contact the Community Thrift Store at (415) 861-4910 with any questions concerning acceptable donations. Your donations are tax-deductible. Please ask for a receipt at the time of donation. On it you will be required to provide a name, address, and an estimate of your donation’s tax deduction value (they suggest either 1/3 of the donation’s new value, or an estimate of the second-hand value).

When donating clothes, please remove any clothes-hangers. Please make sure donated items are clean and in good condition—putting them in bags or boxes is appreciated. Pickup can be arranged within San Francisco for furniture, but major appliances, medical and exercise equipment, and other specific items are not accepted in any condition. If you have any questions about a donation, telephone CTS at (415) 861-4910.
